Post #1 Why I Read?

Why do I read? I read for pleasure and enjoyment. I have a lot of great memories reading books like Percy Jackson. I love reading in the car when we are going on long trips. It’s a great way to pass the time and sometimes you can even learn something. I don’t like reading books that I am forced to read like Romeo & Juliet. I find them very boring and not entertaining. One book that I really liked reading was The Outsiders. Even though it was a book I was forced to read, I found it very entertaining. One series I found entertaining was the Rangers Apprentice. I like books with lots of action and this book was full of it. In every chapter there seemed to be some kind of fight going on. I love reading Sports Illustrated to catch up on the month’s sports. Reading also helps me fall asleep. Whenever I am having trouble falling asleep, I start reading. It’s a way to get me calm and relaxed. Reading also helps me learn new things. I love reading books about successful people like Bill Gates.
